AFC U-17 Cup qualifiers.. Green opens the road against Myanmar

The fourth group of qualifiers for the AFC U-17 Championship “Bahrain 2023” will start on Saturday, in the Eastern Province from 1 to 9 October, with the participation of 5 teams: India, Myanmar, Maldives and Kuwait, in addition to the Saudi team. . The first-placed team from the group qualifies directly to the finals, in addition to the five best second-placed teams.
The eastern region’s hosting of the fourth group of qualifiers comes days after it successfully hosted the matches of the first group of qualifiers for the U-20 Asian Cup “Uzbekistan 2023”, the results of which resulted in the Saudi team qualifying for the finals.
For his part, Yasser Al-Mashal, President of the Saudi Football Association, welcomed the delegations of the teams participating in the fourth group qualifiers, expressing his wishes for the Saudi team success and the reservation of a direct qualification ticket to the Asian Junior Cup finals that will be held in Bahrain.
The Saudi national under-17 youth team will start its qualifying campaign against Myanmar at Prince Saud bin Jalawi Sports City in Al-Khobar, knowing that the qualifiers will start with a confrontation on the same day, bringing together the Kuwaiti and Maldivian teams at the same stadium.
