Abdul Bari Atwan sparks an interaction by commenting on the immunity of Mohammed bin Salman and what happened at the G-20 summit

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Social media activists circulated videos of journalist Abdel Bari Atwan and his comment on the American administration’s request to grant Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman immunity in the case brought by the Turkish researcher, Khadija Genghis, who was the fiancée of the Saudi journalist, Jamal Khashoggi when he was killed in 2018.

Atwan said in the circulating video clip, which he posted on his YouTube page: “At the G20 summit, did you notice something with me? America deceived the whole world that we want to punish Muhammad bin Salman, and this violated democracy and human rights. Today, a decision came out from the American administration that Prince Muhammad Bin Salman is protected by immunity from any trials..”

And he continued, saying: “I mean, all the trials that want to try him for the killing of Khashoggi or his responsibility for the killing of Khashoggi, and to her forced action on the story that he was tortured and killed, and all of these things are now in the trash. Things come to any other peoples who do not appreciate America.

He added: “I stopped when a Saudi prince comes and completely ignores Joe Biden at the G20 summit, meets the Chinese president and invites him to Saudi Arabia, and he will go to Saudi Arabia in mid-December, and the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council will come and receive him, and he will dance the Ardha and the sword dance in Riyadh, and Biden will hear and see what will happen..”
