Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Today, Saturday, the Iraqi Football Association confirmed the existence of strict control over the sale of Gulf 25 tickets, while the Iraqi Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, directed that all state agencies work to ensure the success of the tournament.
A member of the Iraqi Federation, head of the Media Committee for the Gulf Championship 25, Ahmed Al-Musawi, said during a press conference that “there is monitoring of the black market regarding the sale of tickets,” pointing out that “the public can obtain tickets without trouble,” and indicated that “there are five places for direct sale of tickets.” .”
He explained that “there are two languages, Arabic and foreign, in the form for obtaining the reservation of the card, and it is reserved via e-mail,” stressing that “only 20 cards can be purchased via e-mail.”
For his part, Deputy Prime Minister, Oil Minister Hayan Abdul-Ghani confirmed today, Saturday, that the Iraqi Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani, directed all state agencies to support the Gulf 25 in Basra.
Abdul-Ghani said during his meeting in Basra, the Iraqi Minister of Youth and Sports, Ahmed Al-Mubarqa, and the Governor of Basra, Asaad Al-Eidani, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency “INA”: Al-Sudani directed all relevant ministries, and the competent agencies in the government and the state to mobilize their efforts and energies, to provide material support. And technical and logistical for the province, and for the Ministry of Youth and the Iraqi Football Association, to make this Gulf sporting event a success on the land of Basra, and he is personally following the ongoing preparations.
For his part, the governor of Basra, Asaad Al-Eidani, confirmed today, Saturday, that the 25th Gulf Championship will be one of the most successful tournaments, explaining that he discussed with the Minister of Youth and Sports the mechanism for selling tickets, and it was agreed on the details and mechanism for purchasing tickets. He pointed out that “the 25th Gulf Championship was prepared in such a way as to make it one of the most successful tournaments that have been organized before.”
The tournament will start on Friday, January 6, 2023, and will continue until the nineteenth of the same month. After the groups, 4 teams qualify for the semi-finals, then the two winning teams will play the final match on January 19.
