Mane returns to Bayern Munich training

Senegalese Sadio Mane, player of Bayern Munich’s first soccer team, returned, on Tuesday, to the German champions’ exercises, as he continues to recover from an injury that prevented him from participating in the 2022 World Cup.
And the German team’s account on Twitter, the social networking site, published a video showing Mane’s exit to the training ground surrounded by snow while he was in front of the camera saying: “It’s a nice feeling, coming back after a beautiful and long vacation.”
Mane suffered an injury to his right leg during Bayern’s 6-1 victory over Werder Bremen on November 8, and underwent surgery that prevented him from participating with his country in the World Cup, which started 12 days after the setback.
Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann said earlier this month: “The former Liverpool player may return earlier than expected, which may make him ready to face Paris Saint-Germain in the final price of the Champions League.”
And he continued his speech: “If things go well, he may be present to participate against Paris, adding that there is a small chance to participate in the first leg,” in the French capital, February 14, before hosting him on March 8 in Munich.
Mane will not participate with Bayern, the league leaders, against his guest, Cologne, on Tuesday, in the 17th round of the Bundesliga.
