The first Al-Fayhaa football team imposed a 1-1 draw on Damak, in the match that brought them together at Damak Stadium, in the 16th round of the Saudi Roshan League.
The southern teams maintained their unbeaten record against Al-Fayhaa in 6 matches in the Professional League.
Damak started the match pressing on the visitors’ goal, which resulted in the first goal of the match by the Algerian Arab Hilal Sudani at the 37th minute, after a wonderful shot from the right of the penalty area, which hit the window of Al-Fayhaa.
In the second half, the two teams exchanged attacks, but without much effectiveness, until the Macedonian Alexander Trajkovski equalized for his team at the 65th minute, after a cross from a corner kick by Ali Al Zaqan, and the Macedonian hit a perfect ball into the host’s net.
Damak raised its score to 22 points in seventh place, while Al-Fayhaa remained in 11th place with 19 points.
Damak will be a guest on the Gulf, on Saturday, at Prince Muhammad bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam, while Al-Fayha will host its counterpart Al-Hilal, on Wednesday, in the 17th round of the competition.
